The Electronics and Communication Association (ECIAN)

Formerly known as ‘SMRITHIHETHU’ was formed in 2012. The main objective of this association is to improve students technical knowledge by organising expert lectures, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, intra- and inter-departmental technical competitions, and other activities, while also bringing out their passion, intelligence, and creativity in order to bridge the gap between academia and industry. In order to improve their responsibilities in serving society, it also helps to develop the ability to comprehend and effectively convey engineering and related topics, as well as to foster leadership and entrepreneurial abilities.
